Sometimes you outgrow a baby carrier, either its colour, style or function, but in an effort to have less *stuff* you hold onto it. Let's fix that! With the trade-in/consignment program you can upgrade your carrier or send your old one back. This will help you have less stuff, but also help another family get their hands on a quality carrier.

  • 1. Order Your New Carrier

    Pick and purchase your new carrier. Make sure to hold onto your order number, because you'll need that for the next step.

  • 2. Fill Out The Form

    Fill out the form (linked below) with all of your information. Don't worry if you can't find your original order number, we can do that part.

  • 3. Get Your Credit

    Get your current carrier ready for its new home by cleaning and packing it up in the shipping materials we send you. It'll take us a few days to inspect and process your credit.

What carriers are eligible?

  • Baby carriers that have been gently used.
  • Carriers purchased directly from Heritage Baby Designs.

How much is my used carrier worth?

Carriers will be assessed by Emily & Kayleigh for resale. We will follow these guidelines for setting value:

Consignment:

  • Tier 1 | 0-6m old carrier - receive a 50% Buy Back
  • Tier 2 | 6-12m old carrier - receive a 30% Buy Back
  • Tier 3 | over 12m old carrier - receive a 10% Buy Back

Trade In Program:

  • Tier 1 | 0-6m old carrier - receive a 35% Refund on New Carrier
  • Tier 2 | 6-12m old carrier - receive a 22% Refund on New Carrier
  • Tier 3 | over 12m old carrier - receive a 7% Refund on New Carrier

Some exceptions may apply.

Where can I trade from?

As long as you're willing to pay for shipping - anywhere!

Can you give me some more details?

  1. Inspect and clean your carrier to make sure it’s eligible.
  2. Complete the online form after purchasing your new carrier (you will need your order number for the return form)
  3. Once we receive your return form, we will send you our address for you to ship us your trade in or consignment carrier.
  4. Once we receive your carrier we will inspect it to ensure it is safe for resale.
  5. If your carrier meets our program requirements, you will receive your refund or buy back and confirmation via email
  6. If your trade-in did not meet our program requirements, you will receive an email letting you know it was not accepted along with any next steps.
